You have real signs of life. A handful of paying customers, a pilot that held, people using what you built often enough that they would notice if it stopped. Not proof yet — but not nothing, and it cost you everything you had to get here.

You are also too early for an accelerator that expects a full team, a round already raised, and a growth chart. Too far along for a program that starts with a blank page. And every grant you qualify for funds the mission while asking nothing about the business — so the business never gets built.

Most founders sit here for years. Funding it themselves, doing every job, waiting for traction to turn into a company. Usually it does not. The idea was rarely the problem. Nobody ever built the business underneath it.

That is the work we do, and it is the only work we do.

Why faith is in the room

Building a company that changes lives costs more than anyone sees. Your own money, before anyone else’s. Relationships that strain. Long stretches where the only evidence you are right is your own conviction.

The founders who make it through usually have something underneath the strategy — a sense that this work was given to them. That is what faith does here. It is not a box you check. It is the reason you are still standing.

There is no statement of faith to sign and no test to pass. Our mentors are not required to share your faith — only to respect it and to be useful, which is the harder requirement.

This is for you if:

  • Customers outside your own network are paying for what you built, or using it often enough that they would notice if it stopped
  • The problem you took on is big enough that solving it properly means building something large
  • Your revenue and your impact come from the same activity — serving more customers means doing more good, not less
  • You intend to build a company that stands on its own revenue, and you are willing to be held to that
  • You know exactly what is blocking you, and you have stopped believing you can solve it alone
  • You are going to build this whether we take you or not. You would just rather not go slowly, and not go alone
  • You are building in the United States
  • Your faith is why you started, and why you have not walked away

This is not for you if:

  • You have an idea and no evidence that anyone outside your circle wants it
  • You have worked on this for years, and the business has not changed shape in any of them
  • You have more than $500,000 of investment on your cap table — you are past what a pre-accelerator can do for you
  • You are building to sell it, and the good it does is the marketing
  • You are looking for a grant, and the business model is something you will figure out later
  • This is a side project, and you are hoping twelve weeks of pressure will turn it into a company

Growth and impact, built at the same time

The five things below are the foundation.

Each one makes the business stronger and the impact bigger, because in a company built this way, those are not separate projects.

Revenue you can repeat from strangers, not from people who love you. More paying customers means you serve more people.

A way of reaching your customer a competitor does not have so growth does not depend on outspending anyone.

A product that ships when you are not in the room so reach is no longer limited by your calendar.

Impact you can put a number against measured the way a funder, a partner, or a buyer measures it.

Unit economics that improve with volume so every additional person you serve costs less, not more.

Build those five and the company can go as far as the problem requires. Skip them and the ceiling gets set for you.

We take 10. 

Small enough that every founder is known by name and nobody coasts. 

Small enough that we can be honest with you about what is not working while there is still time to fix it.

Every founder is eligible to receive $10,000, and DO GOOD X takes no equity for it.

Alongside them, mentors who have built companies, sold them, run accelerators, and sat exactly where you are sitting.

What the 12 weeks actually are

March to late May 2027. Ten founders. Three things have to be true when you leave: the business sustains itself,
it grows past you, and you can prove what it changes.

  • WEEKS 1–2

    Where you actually are

    We take the business apart with you. Customers, revenue, costs, what is working and what you have been avoiding. You leave with a baseline, including your first impact measure. Most founders find out something here they did not want to know.

  • WEEKS 3–6

    Proving the model

    Customer discovery done properly, not the version you did once and stopped. You go back out and keep talking to people until what you hear changes something. Then repeatable revenue from outside your network, pricing you can defend, and the unit economics that decide whether growth helps you or hurts you. Mentor matching starts here, against what you are stuck on rather than what looks good on paper.

  • WEEKS 7–9

    Building past yourself

    Systems, first hires or contractors, and delivery that works when you are not in the room. This is the stretch most founders resist and the one that decides whether the company can grow.

  • WEEKS 10–12

    The pitch and what comes next

    Your capital path, whatever it is. Revenue-funded growth, grants, debt, investment, or staying exactly the size you are. You pitch it and you pitch it again, in front of people who will tell you where it falls apart, until it holds. You leave with the case for the path you chose and the numbers behind it.

What it asks of you

This has to be the work you are actually doing, not the thing you get to on weekends. Sessions you do not miss. Numbers you bring honestly, including the ones that are not good. A willingness to be told your favorite idea is not working. Founders who treat this as one more thing on the calendar get very little out of it. We would rather you apply next cycle than half-do this one.

FAQs

Do I need revenue to apply?
1.

No. You need evidence that someone outside your own network wants what you built. Revenue is the clearest form of that, but it is not the only one.

I have raised a little. Am I still eligible?
2.

Yes, up to $500,000 of investment on your cap table. We count money that bought a piece of your company — angel, venture, friends and family. We do not count grants, prize money or pitch competition winnings, because those are not investors and they did not take a share of what you are building.

Is this only for Christian founders?
3.

DO GOOD X is Christian-rooted. There is no statement of faith to sign and no test to pass. We ask you to be able to say what called you to this work, and to be comfortable in a room where other founders answer that question too.

I am a nonprofit. Can I apply?
4.

If you generate earned revenue, yes. If you are funded entirely by grants and donations, this is not the right program — the twelve weeks are about building a business that stands on its own.

Do you take equity?
5.

No. DO GOOD X takes no equity and no revenue share. The $10,000 is yours and so is the company.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Spring 2027 is fully funded — DO GOOD X carries the cost of the program, the mentors and the sessions, and every founder selected receives $10,000. What it costs you is the time, and we are serious about the time.

Can I apply with a co-founder?
7.

Yes. One of you is the primary participant and attends everything. Your co-founder is welcome at cohort sessions.
