WHAT CAN I EXPECT

An accelerator program offering a diverse community, collaboration, and comprehensive tools that are essential for pushing your big idea into reality.

If selected, you will:

  • refine your idea and test it out among a community of peers
  • gain a theological and moral framework for social entrepreneurship
  • develop your project through interactive business development processes
  • address your passion, big idea, team, resources, and how you measure the good you want to do in the world
  • pitch your idea to a community of seasoned entrepreneurs
  • work with business experts and coaches

You will leave with clarity about next steps and a viable plan to launch your idea to do good.

WHO IS THIS FOR

Applicants for the DO GOOD X Startup Accelerator should be:

  • early-stage entrepreneurs
  • driven by their Christian faith
  • available to participate in the entire accelerator program
  • clear about a business idea that can bring more good to the world
  • ready to launch or accelerator their idea or project

WHAT DOES IT COST

$2000 for an individual working on an idea or a project. $1500 per person for teams of two or more people working on the same idea or project. (Limited scholarships are available. Teams are not eligible for scholarships.)

What does the cost include?

Week 1:  Jump Start (Atlanta, GA) – September 10-13

An experience to help you answer the “why?” behind your idea, examine the social and financial alignment of your project idea through a theological and moral framework, help you clarify its value proposition, and guide you in developing a plan of execution. This program will arm you to jump start your idea!

Weeks 2-7: Path by Plywood (Online Curriculum) – September 17 – November 2

A 6-week collaborative online learning experience with your cohort to take your passion and idea and turn into good in the world. (Participants should plan to spend approximately 6 hours a week dedicated to this experience. There will also be a weekly 60-minute video call with the cohort.)

Week 8:   Boot Camp & Pitch for Good (Atlanta, GA) – November 4-9

An intensive designed to provide a deeper dive into your idea and explore how to transform your idea into a viable business for social good. The gathering will end with a pitch event with mentors and potential funders present. You’ll discover:

  • How to build your idea from passion
  • What exactly is your idea or project and how does it work
  • How to measure the good impact that your idea makes
  • Why is collaboration over competition is valuable and essential
  • How to define your business model and ensure you are building it to be sustainable

The cost includes lodging for Jump Start and Boot Camp and all meals for the duration of the program. Airfare or travel fees are not included in the cost.
